Mr. Laddey earned his Bachelor’s degree in political science from Union College in Schenectady, New York in 2006. He earned a Master’s degree in climate science and policy from Columbia University in 2010 and graduated from Rutgers Law School in Newark, New Jersey in 2018.
Prior to law school, Mr. Laddey spent five years working in the fields of climate change and sustainable development at the United Nations. Mr. Laddey worked to manage partnerships with national governments and non-governmental organizations across the world. He also had the opportunity to regularly travel to East and West Africa.
While attending Rutgers Law School, Mr. Laddey completed internships with the Eastern Environmental Law Center in Newark, New Jersey and the Environmental Protection Agency in New York. He was selected for the MAIDA Public Interest Summer Fellowship Program and as an AmeriCorps JD Equal Justice Fellow. He also earned the Academic Achievement Award for the Best Student Note, Comment, or Scholarly Paper.
Prior to joining Koster, Brady & Nagler, LLP, Mr. Laddey worked at an Am Law 100 law firm in talc and asbestos litigation. Mr. Laddey practices in the areas of medical malpractice and general liability at KBN. In his role, Mr. Laddey attends court conferences, conducts extensive discovery work and depositions, drafts complex substantive and procedural motions, and participates in developing trial strategies.
Mr. Laddey is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and New Jersey.
