Mr. Herbert is the managing partner of the firm’s New Jersey office. He received a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School in 1996. Mr. Herbert received a B.S. in Communications with a minor in Business from St. John’s University in 1988. While in law school, Mr. Herbert was a student law clerk to Justice Harold Baer of the United States District Court, Southern District of New York.
Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Herbert was associated with another litigation firm, where he specialized in general negligence and complex tort cases.
Since joining Koster, Brady & Nagler in 1999, Mr. Herbert has handled a variety of high exposure cases in the areas of construction defect litigation, premises liability, construction and labor law, products liability, Dram shop and liquor liability, premises security, wrongful death and complex tort litigation. He has a successful record in defending clients by obtaining favorable court decisions and trial verdicts.
Mr. Herbert is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York and the State of New Jersey. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York and for the District of New Jersey.
